Bhubaneswar: The regional officer of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has predicted moderate rain or thundershower with one or two spells of intense rainfall to affect some parts of districts Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Jajpur, and Mayurbhanj in next two to three hours today.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
Earlier, the IMD had forecast intense rainfall at a number of places in Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
