Bhubaneswar: In a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre, the Odisha government today appointed 2008 batch IAS officer Yamini Sarangi as State Project Director, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS).
A notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department today said that Yamini Sarangi, Officer on Special Duty, GA & PG Department is appointed as State Project Director, OAVS in place of Sangram Keshari Mohapatra.
The post of State Project Director, OAVS is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the State, the notification said.
Sarangi has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Secretary to Government, Finance Department, the notification added.
Similarly, 2012 batch IAS officer Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, State Project Director, OAVS is appointed as Additional Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department, the notification further said.
Besides, 2020 batch IAS officer Vedbhushan, Sub-Collector, Dharmagarh with additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Dharmagarh is appointed as Commissioner, Sambalpur Municipal Corporation, the notification stated.
The post of Commissioner, Sambalpur Municipal Corporation is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Under Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the State, the notification said.
The notification further stated that OAS (SS) officer Nrusingh Ch Swain, Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department is transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Boudh.
