Bhubaneswar: A fraudulent certificate ring has just been exposed in Khurda. The Police have arrested one person in relation to this incident.
Tapan Kumar Prusty has been named as the accused in this case. He once taught Political Science at a college in Kaipadar, reports stated.
Following a complaint against the professor from a +2 student from Dadhimachhagadia, the fraudulent certificate ring in Khurda was busted.
Instead of a +2 pass certificate, it is claimed that the professor sold off a phony National Open University credential. According to reports, Prusty billed Rs 33,000 for the same.
Prusty, who is now being held by the police, is a native of Jajpur. The matter is currently being investigated further.
