Horrific! Woman Beheads One-Month-Old Son With Axe In Keonjhar, Arrested

Telkoi (Keonjhar): In a horrific incident, on Monday a woman allegedly beheaded her one-month-old infant son with an axe at Namkani Juanga Sahi in Bimala panchayat under Telkoi police limits in Keonjhar district.

Police have seized the body and arrested the accused woman identified as Laxmi Juanga, wife of Guru Juanga.

According to reports, at around 11 AM Guru Juanga who was sleeping in his house woke up on hearing the shrill shriek of the infant. To his horror Guru found his wife Laxmi to have beheaded their infant son with an axe. Laxmi had applied vermillion on her infant’s forehead before beheading him.

Four years back Laxmi had killed her first child, a girl by getting her drowned. She was jailed for the crime and was released a few months back.

A scientific team of the police is investigating the matter.
