According to preliminary reports, the deceased were employees of the buffalo farm owned by one Antaryami Das.
Antaryami Das told the media that he last talked to his employees at the farm at around 10.30 pm on Thursday. One of these employees called him around 1.30 am today, but he could not take the call as he was asleep. This morning, he called them over the phone but his calls went unanswered.
