Daring Dacoity At Olma Village In Odisha’s Kalahandi District

Kalahandi: In a daring dacoity, 12 armed robbers vandalised the house of a farmer and looted 25 tolas of gold ornaments and other valuables at Olma village under Kokasara police limits in Odisha’s Kalahandi district.

According to reports, a gang of 12 armed robbers broke into the house of Dhananjay Sahu, locked all the family members in a room, and decamped with gold jewellery and other valuables of Sunday night.

When the family raised a cry for help, local villagers managed to nab one of the gang members and beat him up before handing over the robber to the police. The arrested accused has been detained at the police station for interrogation.

On being informed, Dharamgarh SDPO and Koksara police team reached the crime scene and launched an investigation.
