Bhubaneswar: Two labourers were killed in an accidental explosion which took place during stone blasting in a quarry near Bandhaguda village in the district under Mohana police limits on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Narayan Nahak from Jharadi Radhagobindapur Gram and Vishnu Prasad Nahak from Madhurchhua Gram.
The duo was fatally injured after coming under stones and boulders following the blast. Local authorities, Mohana Police and the personnel, rushed to the mishap site and initiated a rescue operation. An investigation has been launched into the accident.
