Jaipur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday asked Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to resign on issue of “Laal diary”.
Shah, who was in Gangapur, to participate in the Kisan Sammelan said, “Nowadays, Mr Gehlot is very much afraid of red color and red diary, because black deeds are hidden inside the red diary, the black book record of crores of rupees black business is in the red diary.”
As some people raised anti-union government slogans, Shah, targetting Gehlot, said, “Mr. Gehlot, nothing can be done by sending these few people who are raising such slogans. If you have even an iota of shame left, resign and contest polls.”
Shah, who also hold portfolio of Cooperation Minister, reached Jaipur airport at 1.45 p.m. and then arrived in Gangapur, where he and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla released a book written on cooperative societies.
Earlier, Shah referred to the work done by the Modi government, saying, “The Congress government did nothing for the farmers. BJP launched many schemes for the farmers. Today, the central government is giving Rs 6,000 to every farmer. Modi ji has increased the agriculture budget six times.”
Shah shared that when he was coming, a farmer told him there is no electricity here.
He asked the electorate to put all seats of the state in BJP’s kitty in Lok Sabha polls.
