Dhenkanal: Eleven cows were killed and two critically injured after a speeding truck ran over a herd of cattle lying beside the road on late Wednesday night.
The incident has been reported from near Barihapur under the Parjang police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.
According to reports, the killed truck ran over the cows sleeping on the roadside and fled the scene. On being informed by the locals, police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. The police are now on the hunt for the truck and the driver.
