Newborn Babygirl Rescued From Hospital In Bolangir

Bhubaneswar: An abandoned baby girl was rescued from Bolangir District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), on Saturday morning.

Reportedly, a DHH staff heard the baby’s cries early in the morning. Later, the abandoned baby girl was rescued from near the bathroom of the obstetrics and gynaecology department of the government hospital, reports added.

Her condition was stated to be serious when she was rescued.

Sources informed that the baby girl is two to three days old. She was rushed to the doctor after getting rescued for a health checkup. Later, she was moved to the ICU for further treatment.

Allegedly, the mother of the baby girl abandoned her newborn and fled the spot.
