Former UP DyCM Dinesh Sharma Takes Oath As RS MP

New Delhi: BJP leader and former deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Dinesh Sharma on Monday took oath as a member of Rajya Sabha.

Sharma took the oath on the first day of five-day special session of Parliament.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on September 3 named Sharma as its candidate for the by-election to a Rajya Sabha seat from the state.

The bypoll, scheduled for September 15, was necessitated due to the demise of incumbent BJP MP Hardwar Dubey on June 26. The term for the seat is till November 2026.

Hyderabad: GMR-led Hyderabad International Airport on Tuesday announced the launch of end-to-end paperless e-boarding for international flights, thus becoming the first airport in India to do so, on Oct 27, 2020. The service is currently available for select international flights of IndiGo Airlines. The airport rolled out its e-boarding services for international flights after the government's nod based on a rigorous and successful pilot. IndiGo Airlines became the maiden carrier to commence this facility when their Sharjah-bound passengers e-boarded themselves from Hyderabad on the 6E 1405 flight on October 2. (Photo: IANS)
