Udala (Mayurbhanj): The body of a girl student was found hanging on Thursday inside Monalisa Mess, a private hostel located in Ward no.3 of Udala NAC under Udala police limits of Mayurbhanj district. The deceased has been identified as Manisha Hansda.
According to reports, Manisha was studying in the Plus II first year class of RDS College. Today morning she did not go to attend the coaching class.
Her classmates after returning from attending coaching class found her room locked from inside.
As she did not respond to knocking on her room’s door, he classmates informed the mess owner.
After the mess owner broke open the door of the room Manisha was found hanging by using her ‘dupatta’.
On being informed Udala police have launched an investigation into the incident and have seized the body.
