Koraput: Five people, including three passengers of a car, sustained critical injuries after the car collided with a truck near the RTO office on State Highway No. 26 in Odisha’s Koraput district on Sunday morning.
The injured have been identified as Dilip Naidu, Naveen Naidu, and Bal Krishna Naidu. In addition, two of the five women sitting on the truck were injured in the accident.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the car going from Indravati in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district to Salu in Andhra Pradesh rammed into a truck near the Koraput RTO office. All the injured have been shifted to Sahid Laxman Naik Medical College where their condition is said to be critical.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel and a team led by Koraput SDPO Shravani Naik reached the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital.
