Bhubaneswar: The minimum temperature (night temperature) dropped appreciably at several places in Odisha during the last 24 hours setting the winter chill. A number of places in the state recorded a minimum temperature of 15°C and Koraput recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13°C, while the highest maximum temperature of 34.4°C was recorded at Paradip.
Over the past few days, the minimum temperature has been below normal. However, the minimum temperature is likely to increase slightly during the next few days due to the impact of the easterly winds. According to the regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar, dry weather is likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
