Bolangir: A man was killed and his wife was critically injured on Monday when the bike in which they were travelling was hit by a car near Chhatamakhana Chhak on national highway no.26 in Bolangir district.
The deceased has been identified as Paleswar Ghibela. The critically injured woman has been identified as Paleswar’s wife Pinky Ghibela.
According to reports, the accident occurred near Chhatamakhana Chhak while the couple was returning from Bargarh to Bolangir.
Titilagarh IIC Manoj Pradhan who was travelling in the accident causing rented car was also critically injured in the mishap.
While Pradhan has been shifted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital here, the injured woman has been shifted to VIMSAR Burla.
