BSF Jawans Bust Maoist Camp In Malkangiri Forest

Malkangiri: The BSF jawans today busted a Maoist camp in a forest under Mathili police station of Malkangiri district bordering Chhattisgarh.

The jawans also seized a large amount of Maoist articles from there.

BSF 2nd battalion jawans of Malkangari launched a search operation in Tulsi protected forest on Odisha-Chhattisgarh border. A Maoist den was found from the forest near Kirmiti village under Temuripali panchayat in Mathili.

The jawans also seized a 15-litre container, a walkie-talkie, homemade grenades, 82 Maoist literature books, tarpaulin, and bags along with other items.

Following the seizure, the combing operation has been intensified.
