Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation, lying over the Gulf of Thailand and extends up to mid-tropospheric levels, is likely to emerge into Andaman Sea on November 13. Under its influence, a low-pressure Area is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal around November 14, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its midday bulletin on Sunday.
The LoPAR is likely to move west-north-westwards and intensify into a depression over central and adjoining South Bay of Bengal around November 16 brining light to moderate rain to coastal districts of Odisha.
