Bhadrak: One person was killed and three critically injured when the car they were travelling by crashed against a truck parked on National Highway No 16 on Thursday night. The car was going to Dhamnagar from Bhadrak Old Bazaar.
According to reports, the fatal accident took place on Gelpur Street under Bhadrak Rural police limits. The car rammed into the parked truck from behind killing one person and critically injuring four others. One of the injured breathed his last on Friday morning while undergoing treatment. Two injured persons are being treated at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, while another has been admitted to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital.
The Bhadrak police have started an investigation to ascertain the reason for the fatal mishap.
