Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed on the spot and two others sustained grievous injuries when the car they were travelling by crashed against an electric post in Odisha’s Bhadrak district late Tuesday.
The accident took place when the driver lost control of the wheel near Ranital on National Highway No. 16 in Bhadrak district.
The locals rushed to the spot to help the accident victims and informed the police. One of the two injured passengers was admitted to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), while another was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.
According to reports, the four people were coming to Bhubaneswar by car from West Bengal when the accident took place.
