Nayagarh: One person was killed on the spot and five critically injured after the pick-up van they were travelling by rammed into a stationery trailer truck near Takera Square under Daspalla police limits in Odisha’s Nayagarh district at around 5:00 am on Thursday.
All six people were returning to Asthgarh after enjoying a picnic in Daringbadi.
According to reports, the deceased was trapped between the two vehicles after the accident and the Fire Services personnel had to use gas cutters to free his body. Meanwhile, the injured have been admitted to the Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
