Missing Soro Teenager’s Body Recovered From Pond

Balasore: The three-year-old boy Subham who went missing while playing near the house, was found dead inside a pond near the house at Raipur village under Soro police station in Balasore district.

The incident sent a shock wave in the locality on the New Year.

The fire brigade team fished out his body from an abandoned pond near the house after a frantic search operation since Monday. Police seized the body for post-mortem.

Shubham, son of Mohan Sahu of Raipur village, went missing while playing with his sister. The family and villagers searched various ponds, railway stations, bus stands and other places, but failed to find him.

The family in despair lodged a complaint with the police following which police with sniffer dogs launched a search operation.

The fire brigade conducted a search operation in the pond in the village in apprehension of drowning.
