Another Hi-Tech Hospital Explosion Victim Succumbs To Injuries

Bhubaneswar: Another person injured in an explosion at the Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital in the Pandra area of Bhubaneswar succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. With this, the death toll in the accident increased to two.

According to reports, the explosion took place on the hospital premises around 6.15 pm on December 29 during AC gas filling reportedly due to an electrical short circuit.

Altogether four people were injured in the mishap and two victims are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital’s ICU. Their condition is said to be critical.
