Balasore: Mystery shrouds the death of a driver whose decomposed body was spotted inside a stationary container truck in Balasore on Sunday.
According to reports, the container truck was standing near Parvati Dhaba under Simulia police limits in Odisha on National Highway-16 for the last three days. As the truck emitted a potent foul smell, Vijay Behera, the owner of Parvati Dhaba, went near the vehicle and inspected the container truck. Behera was shocked to find the decomposed body of the driver inside the container truck and informed the Simulia police on Sunday night.
A team from the Simulia police arrived at the spot and inspected the container truck but left the spot without recovering the body. Till the time of writing this report on Monday morning, the body is still in the container and polluting the area with a potent foul smell.
