Bhubaneswar: About 10,000 pilgrims from five districts, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Cuttack and Kendrapara, today visited Puri and experienced the newly inaugurated Parikrama Project. Devotees came from 500 panchayats and wards of these districts. The tour was arranged by the State government.
The State government has arranged a Parikrama Project Darshan for the devotees from all districts to give them a divine experience.
They first assembled at Samang near Puri where 5T chairman V.K. Pandian met them. Pandian highlighted how the Chief Minister is giving importance to the transformation of Odisha and the welfare of the people.
Devotees were very happy about the Srimandir Parikrama project and the transformation of other religious places. They thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and V.K Pandian for such an arrangement.
Devotees were taken from Samang in a special feeder bus via Sri Setu to the Jagannath Ballav Parking lot. Arrangements were made to take the devotees to temple. Mahaprasad was also arranged for them.
