Bhubaneswar: The ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ led by Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will enter Odisha’s Sundargarh district around 2.30 pm on Tuesday.
According to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Sarat Pattnayak, Gandhi will enter Odisha from the Jharkhand border at Birmitrapur and hand over the ‘Bharat Joodo Nyay Yatra’ flag to the OPCC. Following this, the yatra will cover 11 km in Sundargarh and reach Bijabahal where Gandhi will retire for the night.
On the second day of the yatra on Wednesday, the yatra will commence from near the Rourkela SP office and the Congress leader will address a public rally at Panaposh Square. Later in the day, Gandhi will address two more public rallies at Kutra and Baragaon.
Gandhi will spend the night at Amipally in Jharsuguda district on Wednesday.
On the third and final days of the yatra in Odisha, Rahul Gandhi will start the yatra from Jharsuguda and culminate at Kanaktora near the Chhattisgarh border. He will then enter Chhattisgarh and continue the yatra there.
The 67-day ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ started in Manipur on January 11 and is scheduled to culminate in Mumbai having crossed 14 states and 85 districts.
