Bhubaneswar: At least one person was killed and around 10 persons were injured on Wednesday when a bus carrying them overturned on national highway no.16 near Gopalpur Chowk in Cuttack district.
According to reports, the private bus ‘Chandan’ was on its way to Balasore from Bhubaneswar when it met with the accident.
There were around 40 passengers on the ill-fated bus.
Locals and other commuters are doing their best to rescue the passengers trapped in the bus.
The injured passengers with multiple injuries have been rushed to SCB Medical College & Hospital at Cuttack.
