Dry Weather Likely To Prevail Across Odisha, Dense Fog In Several Places: IMD

Bhubaneswar: Dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of Odisha for the next week, while shallow to moderate fog will occur in several areas of the state, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its midday bulletin on Friday.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall occurred at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Balasore, while dry weather prevailed over the rest of the districts of Odisha. The chief amount of rainfall was recorded in Rairangpur (Mayurbhanj), Jamda (Mayurbhanj), Bijatala (Mayurbhanj), Rasagovindapur (Mayurbhanj), and Tiring (Mayurbhanj).

Dense to very dense has occurred at one or two places in the Puri and Nayagarh districts of Odisha.

Minimum temperatures observed no large change over the districts of Odisha. The highest maximum temperature of 35.6°C was recorded at Nayagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 14.8°C was recorded at Nabarangpur in the plains of Odisha.
