Cuttack: The manager of popular Odia playback singer Humane Sagar has been booked for attacking lyricist Pramod Parida murderously in Cuttack.
Humane Sagar’s manager Sagar Behera allegedly attacked Pramod at his rented house near Palamandap in Badambadi, Cuttack on Tuesday.
Pramod lodged an FIR at Badambadi police based on which a case has been registered.
In his complaint, Pramod alleged that Sagar reached his house at Palamandap on Tuesday with another person and knocked the door.
When Pramod opened the door, he allegedly thrashed him at gun point. They also took Pramod to the office of Humane Sagar on a bike and inflicted physical torture on him.
They also threatened him to eliminate if he comments anything about Humane Sagar on social media, Pramod alleged in his complaint.
The lyricist sustained critical injuries on head and other parts of the body.
Accused Sagar is a resident of Bakharabad in Cuttack city.
