Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has denied the allegations of English question paper leak of HSC examination.
A day after the question and answer sheet of English paper of Matric examination went viral on social media, the Board came out with a clarification today that no such incident happened anywhere in Odisha.
BSE Vice President Nihar Ranjan Mohanty said that no question paper leaked in any parts of the State. “It has been 24 hours since the English examination. We have received no complaint of question paper leak from anywhere. Some miscreants are trying to mislead students and malign the image of Board,” Mohanty said.
Mohanty said that the board has installed AI-powered cameras at the exam and nodal certres to keep a watch on wrong activities. In some centres, there was mismanagement detected by the AI. The staff engaged in the conduct of the examination will be alerted, Mohanty added.
A video containing the purported question paper of the Matric examination was doing rounds on the internet in Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj on Friday.
The question paper reportedly went viral just before the beginning of the examination. Keonjhar DEO transferred the Saharpada centre superintendent following the question leak allegation.
