Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has recently launched the Odia translation of the book ‘The Tall Man Biju Patnaik’ based on legendary leader Biju Patnaik.
Expressing his happiness on the launching of ‘Uttunga Purusa’, the Odia version of the book The Tall Man Biju Patnaik published by the leading publishing house of the state Pen in Books, CM said, “The new generation will come to know more about Biju Babu’s inspiring and adventurous lifestyle from the book.”
Notably, the original English book was penned by eminent writer Sundar Ganesan and published by the Biju Patnaik Birth Centenary Committee in 2018. However, this book has been translated into Odia by prolific writer Sangram Mohapatra.
Writer Mohapatra and director of the publishing house Subhranshu Panda were present during the book launch.
On this occasion, Panda informed that the second edition of the original English book has been published by Pen in Books and both books are available on Amazon.
