Fire Breaks Out In Indupur CHC, Medicines & Equipment Damaged

Kendrapara: Medicines and equipment worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed in a fire that broke out in the old building of the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Indupur in Kendrapara district on Saturday afternoon.

According to reports, after witnessing smoke emanating from the old building of the CHC, authorities informed the Fire Brigade.

Fire Service personnel had difficulty in taming the blaze as the stock room contained a huge stock of sanitisers.

However, no casualties have been reported and the patients are safe.
