Bhubaneswar: Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and polls for the State Assemblies of Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha today. The polls will be held in 7 phases, beginning on April 19 and ending on June 1. The results will be declared on June 4.
As per the Chief Election Commissioner’s announcement polling in Odisha will be held in four phases on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1 both for the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha.
On May 13th polling will be held in the Parliamentary Constituencies of Kalahandi, Berhampur, Nabarangpur and Koraput.
On May 20th, polling will be held in the Parliamentary Constituencies of Bargarh, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Kandhamal and Aska.
On May 25th polling will be held in Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri and Bhubaneswar.
On June 1 polling will be held in the Parliamentary Constituencies of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur.
