Bhubaneswar: Every woman has the power to inspire and empower each other. Gone are the days when women were confined to the four walls of the house. Now, women have made an impact in diverse fields and broken several glass ceilings. Keeping women’s significant contribution in the progress of our society in mind, Bhubaneswar edition 2 of the Grand Queens Leadership Awards, 2024 was held at Hotel Suraj Palace recently.
It was a day of high celebration as twenty-one women have been felicitated for their worthy contribution.
Nominations for the awards were invited from 108 identified fields of work. Chief Operating Officer of STPINEXT Lopa Mishra Jana graced the occasion and gave away prizes to the selected women across the state. The winners included from countries like Bangladesh, UAE, UK, USA, Singapore and Belgium as well.
Rameswari Nanda, Sudipta Srichandan, Pratyasha Ray, Anu Saraf and Luvleen Mohapatra were given special awards on this occasion.
Also, Aryasha Dash, Bhawna Gupta, Rojalin Parida, Pragnya Mishra, Proshish Golyan, Reemly Mohanty, Sanjukta Patnaik, Shrabani Patnaik, Sonali Mishra, Sujata Sabat Padhy, Nirupama Biswal, Mimansha Priyadarshini Rath, Pallavi Dash, Rupashree Swetapadma Mohanty, Sudipta Mishra, Sushree Sangeeta Sahoo and Afreen Khan have been felicitated by the outfit for their remarkable contributions on this occasion.
According to sources, the Grand Queens Club is a forum for working women across various fields to come together to network, collaborate and grow. The club comprises of 400 grand queens and 16 of the grand queens have been shortlisted for a special title “Queen of Grand Queens. For Bhubaneswar, Ms Munmun Singh was chosen as the Queen of Grand Queens.
