Bhubaneswar: One person died and two others were critically injured when the mud wall of their neighbour’s house collapsed on them in the Jaleswar area of Odisha’s Balasore district on Monday morning.
According to reports, a minor boy named Sheikh Arif was killed in the incident, while his parents – Seikh Samiruddin and Asima Bibi – sustained critical injuries and were admitted to Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
The incident occurred when the trio was by the roadside and the mud wall of their neighbor collapsed on the family. Sheikh Arif died on the spot.
Hearing the family’s screams, local people rushed to rescue them from under the debris.
