Bhubaneswar: The day temperatures (maximum temperature) are likely to rise further by 2°C-4°C across Odisha in the next three days due to the prevailing northwesterly/westerly dry air and high solar insolation. Consequently, the maximum temperature is likely to be more than 40°C or above at many places over the districts of the state, the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its mid-day bulletin on Tuesday.
