Bolangir: At least 20 persons were injured in bee attack during election campaigning by Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leaders at Kaintara village under Binika block in Subarnapur district on Monday.
According to reports, while BJD’s Bolangir Parliamentary Constituency candidate Surendra Singh Bhoi and Birmaharajpur Assembly Constituency candidate Padmanava Behera accompanied by BJD’s Binika Block president Dwarikanath Sahu and party workers were campaigning at Kaintara to the tune of DJ music, they were attacked by a swarm of bees.
Around 20 persons including Bhoi, Behera and Sahu were injured in the bee attack. All the injured have been rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Binika.
