Bhubaneswar: Police recovered the mutilated body of a person from Bishnumandirpada area under Burla police limits in Sambalpur district, on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Bijay Jal.
According to sources, locals spotted Jal’s body lying on the roadside and informed the police in this regard. Police sent the body for post-mortem after seizing it.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s family alleged that miscreants dumped Lal on the roadside after killing him. Burla Police, meanwhile, initiated a probe into the matter.
