Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, six people sustained injuries in a head-on collision between a school bus and a truck in Jharsuguda on Wednesday.
The school bus was ferrying about 15 passengers, including students and teachers of DAV Public School, Jharsuguda when it collided with a truck on NH 49 near Shanidev Temple, under Belpahar police station limits.
Passengers along with the bus driver with critical injuries, were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.
As per the reports, the school bus was returning from Lakhanpur when the mishap took place earlier this morning.
