Explosion At Ganjam’s Chemical Factory Leaves Six Injured

Bhubaneswar: An explosion at a chemical factory in Ganjam district left six persons injured on Friday.

As per reports, the fire mishap took place when a chloric acid pipeline connecting to the chemical factory exploded. Out of the six injured, the conditions of three persons are stated to be critical. They were rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital.

Upon being informed, police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot to contain the fire. They have successfully rescued other workers trapped in the factory.

Till the report was filed, the fire tender personnel were struggling to douse the fire.
