Bhubaneswar: The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has exuded confidence of forming the government in Odisha after the completion of the third phase of polling in the State.
“The third phase polling in Odisha is about to conclude. At the end of the third phase, we would like to humbly place before you that Biju Janata Dal is forming the Government in Odisha with the blessings of the people of Odisha,” asserted national spokesperson of BJD Sasmit Patra in a statement on Saturday.
The senior BJD leader has thanked the voters of the six Lok Sabha Constituencies of Sambalpur, Puri, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Keonjhar and Dhenkanal and all its Assembly constituencies for their blessings and continued support to BJD today.
He also thanked all the voters of the first two phases as well for their support and blessings.
Patra pointed out that with the BJD forming the government after the third phase, Odisha BJP is heading towards a massive defeat.
