Bhubaneswar: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Odisha has ordered for an immediate inquiry into the circulation of a video relating to a Polling Station of Begunia Assembly Constituency on some electronic and social media platforms.
A press release issued by the CEO, Odisha states that it has come to its notice that a video relating to a polling station of Begunia Assembly Constituency is circulating on some electronic and social media platforms.
“In this regard, it is stated that on the poll day, live webcasting is arranged in about 60% of polling stations. Live webcasting is viewed in the Control Rooms of the Chief Electoral Officer, District Election Officers and Returning Officers. DEO is the custodian of the webcasting records. Hence, DEO, Khordha has been directed to cause an immediate inquiry and clarify the matter,” the press release said.
