Koraput: Thirteen people, including a police constable serving in Koraput district named Sunil Sahu, were arrested in connection with a robbery in the house of Sunil Sahu, a prominent businessman and BJD leader, in Dungarveja of Odisha’s Koraput district.
While a huge amount of gold and silver jewellery was seized from their possession, another person who purchased the stolen goods from the accused was also arrested.
According to reports, the robbers entered Sunil Sahu’s house by breaking the lock. Later, they broke into the house of the teacher who was staying on rent and looted gold and money from him at gunpoint.
Two more members of this gang are said to be absconding and the police are trying to nab them.
