Balasore: A couple was crushed to death after a dumper carrying stone chips lost control and rammed into their house in Jaleswar of Odisha’s Balasore district on Tuesday night. The tragic incident has been reported from Ambaliatha Chhak under Jaleswar police limits in Balasore.

The deceased couple has been identified as Sudhir Jena and Gitarani Jena of Kasidiha village.

According to reports, the dumper from neighbouring West Bengal lost control and rammed into a house while Sudhir and Gitarani were sleeping inside. As the dumper fell on them, they died on the spot. The driver fled the spot after the accident.
