Bhubaneswar: The newly elected BJP MPs of Odisha has been called to Delhi to discuss the Chief Minister post for the State.
All the 20 newly elected Lok Sabha members will leave for the national Capital today. They will attend the party’s parliamentary board meeting tomorrow. The top leaders will seek views from the MPs regarding the CM post on the formation of the government in the state.
The top leadership will hold talks with the MPs in the Parliamentary Board meeting. After thumping victory, the BJP is going to form government alone in Odisha for the first time.
They are also scheduled to attend the third swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 9.
