Bhubaneswar: Greetings poured in for President Droupadi Murmu on her 66th birthday on Thursday with leaders across party lines, prominent personalities and common people wishing her good health and a long life.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi was among the prominent figures to greet the President. In a post on X, he wrote: “Heartiest birthday greetings to the pride and glory of Odia, President Droupadi Murmu. On this auspicious occasion, I pray to Lord Shri Jagannath for her long and healthy life.”
Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Tamil Nadu MLA Vanathi Srinivasan took to their X handle to send warm wishes on her birthday.
