Two Labourers Killed After Wall Collapses On Them In Subarnapur

Sonepur: In a tragic incident, two labourers including a woman died after a mud wall collapsed on them while they were working in Vivekananda Nagar in Subarnapur town on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Dullava Mirdha and Munu Mirdha of Badakhamar village under Birmaharajpur block.

The incident occurred while they were digging a pit beneath the wall. The labourers were trapped under wall after it collapsed on them. The house owner engaged them in digging holes to erect fence.

The owner immediately informed the Fire brigade who reached the spot and rescued the labourers.

Both were shifted to the district headquarters hospital where doctors declared them dead.

A total of five labourers worked there and two of them faced the fatal accident.
