Cough Syrup Bottles Worth Rs 4 Lakhs Seized In Odisha’s Padmapur

Bhubaneswar: The Paikamal police seized illegal cough syrup worth 4 lakh rupees and arrested two persons in this connection in Odisha’s Padmapur located in Bargarh district on Sunday.

The police officials have confiscated 1,349 units of cough syrup bottles valued at Rs 4 lakhs, along with a red-coloured sedan transporting the cough syrup bottles.

The accused have been identified as; one Dinesh Sahu of Goebahali village and one Jogeshwar Pradhan of Ward No 13, belonging to Bargarh District.

Paikamal police nabbed the two accused during routine patrolling in the Padmapur area.

The accused have been court-forwarded by the police.
