Bhubaneswar: One youth died and two others sustained injuries in a road mishap when they were returning home after attending a spiritual programme at Barafkala Chhak under Soro police limits in Balasore district on Friday.
The accident took place when a truck hit the scooty they were travelling in. While one youth died on the very spot, two others sustained severe injuries and were admitted to a nearby hospital.
While the deceased belonged to Dalanga village under Khaira police limits, the injured duo belonged to Atapur village under Soro police limits.
Police, meanwhile, seized the truck and began a probe into it.
