Odisha CM Assures Opening Of Lord Jagannath’s ‘Ratna Bhandar’ Soon

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said, “Strict action will be taken against those involved in irregularities related to Lord Jagannath’s Ratna Bhandar”, on Sunday.

CM Majhi, while addressing a large gathering at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Special Felicitation Ceremony in the State capital Bhubaneswar, clarified on the opening of ‘Ratna Bhandar’ of the Trinity.

He said, “On multiple occasions, there have been discussions regarding the opening of Ratna Bhandar, with one question in everyone’s mind, ‘When will the Ratna Bhandar open?’. I want to say; that the Ratna Bhandar will be opened, very soon.”

He continued, “The jewels and ornaments of Lord Jagannath and his siblings will be inventoried, and their value calculated. If any irregularities are found, strict action will be taken against those involved. No one will be spared by the government.”

CM Majhi also highlighted irregularities in the mining sector during his address and said; “Stern action will be taken against those who looted minerals of State and took percentages, weakening the State’s economy.”

Furthermore, he emphasized, “Our government’s priority is to prioritize women, farmers, youths, adivasis, dalits, and other backward communities.”
