IMD Predicts Moderate Rain And Thundershower Over Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places over the districts of Odisha in the next 24 hours.

Yellow warning has been issued for thunderstorm with lightning over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur.

The State Capital Bhubaneswar will witness partly cloudy sky with the possibility of moderate rain or thundershower.

The weather department forecasted heavy rainfall over the districts of Mayurbhanj,

Keonjhar, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada on July 6.

The IMD bulletin stated a cyclonic circulation over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and neighbourhood now lies over north Bangladesh & neighbourhood and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
